For example, the Trade-up to XenDesktop 4 program allows customers with active Subscription Advantage that trade-up all of their XenApp license to receive two XenDesktop 4 user licenses for each XenApp concurrent user license at a special price.
For XenApp customers thinking about desktop virtualization, this is an extremely attractive offer. It gives them the ultimate flexibility to deliver both applications and desktops as an on-demand service to any user, with a single solution.
This Program provides a simple, risk free transition to desktop virtualization where customers can continue to leverage XenApp licenses, infrastructure, skill sets and best practices to accelerate adoption of desktop virtualization at an unbeatable price.
We have provided three different campaign emails to cover renewal, reinstatement and recovery XenApp customers. These emails are designed to help the partner start the conversation with their customers.
Renewal customers are the most immediate targets for this trade up program as they already have allocated budget to cover SA for another year, the incremental amount that a customer has to pay before June 30, 2010 is miniscule compared to the amount they would have to pay.
